Ownership determines which user ‘owns’ the files and folders – and hence is able to carry out actions based on the permission settings. A user is the owner of the file. By default, the person who created a file becomes its owner. Hence, a user is also sometimes called an Owner.
A contact, segment, email, or company can have a Owner assigned to them. The owner could be the user who added, created, or imported the contact, segment, email, or company. You can assign/un-assign owners anytime in your Adaptix account.
