There are many different ways you can create and use automations to market effectively and reach your business goals.
When creating a automation you are required to choose a contact source. You can chose a segment of contacts or a campaign form.
- To base the automation off of website visits, add a “Decision” and click “Visits a page”
- You will then be directed to label the automation and you can paste the URL that you want to use and keep track off. Click ” + Add ” when you are done.
- From here you can add an actions or condition based off whether the user visited the URL you created the automation for or if they didn’t visit the website.
*Example: You can modify a contacts tag or send them an email if they visited the URL. You can delete a tag from a contact or change their segment if they didn’t visit the URL. *
